Writer “Mijn moeder staat haar vrouwtje”
In Modelverhalen, Dutch-language writers with Asian roots tell their stories. We meet 30 powerful voices who, in essays, stories, and poems, share how they experience their diverse identities. They offer insights into the many and diverse perspectives that exist within Asian communities.

Presenting the Just Peace Festival
For The Hague Humanity Hub I had many diverse tasks: from moderating to presenting, from redeveloping Humans of the Hub to in-depth interviews, from creating campaigns to covering press interviews.

Editor & Photographer
As Identity Editor, I’m developed a new portfolio for Red Pers. Responding to social developments and the news, I write articles and interviews about identity. Every month, I pitch ideas during editorial meetings, reach out to experts, hit the streets with the video editor, and write about topics like inequality, loneliness, sex, and discrimination.

Founder
Together with musician Francesca Vincentie and videomaker Joardi Meyer, I founded the Bersama Collective. Bersama Collective is a platform for ongoing conversations, artistic collaborations, and (inter)national exchanges focused on colonialism, identity, and a sense of belonging.

Web Design & Photography
As freelancer, I developed and created a website for The Digital Period. Which is both a participatory philosophical study on autonomy and menstrual apps and a podcast, for which Judith Blijden received the Democracy Fellowship.

Editor in Chief
As the Editor in Chief, I was responsible for the editorial direction of Skin Mutts magazine. I managed staff, edited texts, and ensured the magazine’s overall direction. Skin Mutts sheds light on what it means to grow up with different cultures and ethnicities. The theme of the first issue was cultural dissonance and resonance.
